I went through just about the same ritual with mine today Keith, except there was a lot of swearing instead of tears when it started to rain again. For awhile I thought it could get out for a bit. &*%$#$$%#@ing rain. Well, I also poured myself a glass of fine Russian vodka and drank it out in the shop while applying another coat of wax, followed by staring at the dormant beast for awhile.

And then I worked on my old shovel for a bit. One good thing about those old Harleys is that, while they seldom run worth a damn, they always give one something to do during the winter.

LED lights - Basically a set of lights IDENTICAL to the Triumph FOG lights http://www.r3owners.com/showthread.p...modified+light - Took the internal FOG shield out and bodged in a pair of LED torch LED/Reflector units http://www.r3owners.com/showthread.p...ght=conversion from here http://www.lightmalls.com/smo-cree-x...de-led-drop-in
November 2015. For a whole series of reasons - I am retiring from Forum Life. I've been testing my resolve to live without using them - and feel better for it. Yes I will miss the contact I have with folk around the world - but my life is changing - and I am moving on. Certain forum members have my email address and I will see emails - but I will not be returning to the forum and will not attend PM's. Stay well all.

Aaargh! Hate frikken spot painting and sanding. I just ALMOST had it perfect on the front fender chips and the final "light" sanding tonight went too deep in one spot. Chit. Dammit to all get out. Got to start over again with the paint..... Chit. Dammit.

Nah. it's all "light touch" with the fingertips... but I got too impatient at the very end. Now it shows.

Well I installed the drive shaft, swing frame, Rear wheel and brakes along with bleed ing the brakles. The installed the MTC Billet Clutch basket which I should say survived the explosion without a scratch. The new MTC fibers are soaking in mc oil as we speak

Time to set her on the ground and get rid off the chain fall. I am stuck waiting on Triumph for a fricken key for the front of the crank. Ordered it a week and half ago man it takes for ever to get from Georgia.

Oh ya ordered a new 240/55/16 exedra max and a 240/40/18 shinko to replace the mezt and the race attack that has a flat spot on it from the tranny locking up
