Getting multiple AVG Exploit alerts when accessing this site

Hey Tom and Marcus, This afternoon... overtime I visit a page on this forum; my AVG antivirus is going crazy with the detection of multiple Blackhole exploits coming from the R3owners.com site.

I've asked Bishop to take a look, but my AV prog still says everything is OK.

Might be time to get a new AV. As others have said, 'Mass Injection Website 5' with Norton.

As far as I'm concerned, Norton itself is a bloody virus. My AV has protected every computer I've had since 1996 and I've never had a virus, trojan or anything else.Friends of mine have had so many problems generated by Norton that I wouldn't touch it, and the techies where I used to work always told people with Norton to get rid.

That used to be the case, but Norton has come a long way of late. I had Trend Micro and dropped it for Norton a few years back and find it less intrusive and better overall.

Oh, and for what its worth, my job before I retired was Director of Information Security for a fairly large Semiconductor company. Not that I know that much more than anyone else, but I do know what works for me.

My Avast anti virus blocked a threat when I first opened this web page too.
