    Ford F-100 Hi-Boy

This project is coming along very slowly but I'm making some progress. I had it painted did some engine work, installed a new bumper, roll bar and KC lights. Next is the exhaust and the interior. I also still have a few pieces of body trim to install.

I bought the bumper from Summit Racing and it was a poor fit. A machinist friend stopped by to see what could be done and he said "Let me try something that I think will fix the problem"

    Perfect.

I love the chaps (not just for riding) and the grinder pic!

Gotta have KC Hilites! Get more and run them all across that rollbar

Stuff KC's - get some monster RIGID INDUSTRIES LIGHT BARS.

How about a 50" light bar ? OK probably worth twice as much as the F100 - but
November 2015. For a whole series of reasons - I am retiring from Forum Life. I've been testing my resolve to live without using them - and feel better for it. Yes I will miss the contact I have with folk around the world - but my life is changing - and I am moving on. Certain forum members have my email address and I will see emails - but I will not be returning to the forum and will not attend PM's. Stay well all.

He rode his (used to be mine) Harley shovelhead over so was wearing his riding chaps. Dave has seven bikes and rides to work throughout the year, rain or shine, generally an old Gold Wing. His oldest bike is a 37 flathead and his newest one the 1988 Electra Glide that he bought from me a couple of months ago. The chaps work for him.

I have considered getting a light bar and two more lights. I'll be selling it though so don't want to get too much into it. It's a stick shift and I am finding it increasingly difficult to push in the clutch because my left knee is just about gone. Oh well. Age, wear and tear.

Nav, isn't there a kit to make the clutch hydraulic? I did this on one of the Ford trucks years ago, the push on the pedal became very easy.

A very nice "Golden Oldie", Mike!

My worst auto move ever was getting rid of my '53 1/2 ton which looked almost exactly like this less the flames, plus the original chromed bumper, hood strip, running boards plus sidestacks...
