Just a quick post on a forum change...................

I’ve been wanting a rest from moderating for a while now, and thanks to Ruzzle, I’m having it.

He has stepped up to the plate and agreed to take over my role as an Administrator on the forum. After a week or two he should of got used to the feeling of power and might have calmed down, and at that time I will revert to ordinary member status.

I'll still be here, still posting, (sorry for that) still running the administration side of things behind the scenes, just not doing the day to day moderating.

I see this as an evolution, not a revolution, and I also think it will be good for the forum. Things that stay the same tend to stagnate.

Thanks for all your hard work and effort Tom. You deserve a change in roles.

I have enjoyed this forum for several years, but find some of the recent postings have become rather tiresome and tedious.

I swapped my Rocket back in June for a Tiger, which Rosie and I have been getting used to. I think that now is a good time for me to jump ship.

    See you down in Devon!

I too offer my thanks for all the work you have done Tom.
As always it's the "behind the scenes" work that takes a lot of effort, I know and appreceiate this.

Even a little revolution. now and then, is a good thing.
November 2015. For a whole series of reasons - I am retiring from Forum Life. I've been testing my resolve to live without using them - and feel better for it. Yes I will miss the contact I have with folk around the world - but my life is changing - and I am moving on. Certain forum members have my email address and I will see emails - but I will not be returning to the forum and will not attend PM's. Stay well all.

I was going to quote the posts above, and then add +1, but apparently that can get me into trouble now - so I won't.
