    Chilled Instrumental Stuff

Came across this track on youtube by my favourite drummer and guitarist and thought it might be nice to have a thread of nice instrumental tunes of whatever genre you fancy that take you on a nice chilled out ride for a bit...something to pause life with for a while and have a little diversion if that makes sense

So here's my first track to fit the description:

I know of lots more but I'll add them as and when I am in the mood for them and I think it would make a nice addition to this thread

Anyone who loves Jimi Hendrix must say "oh my" after watching this man commit crimes against his poor guitar. I've suddenly developed a craving for some Kentucky Fried Boogie...

He's quite impressive...still look f'ing stupid though lol

Here's an oldie (ish) from my younger days, sends chills when played loud...the lifeforms album by FSOL was and still is a masterpiece of ambient electronic, this is just a little introduction

Do yourself a favour and lay back, turn it up and close your eyes

Google Apocalyptica. Finnish classical cellists playing all sorts of stuff - probably best known for covering Metallica stuff.
November 2015. For a whole series of reasons - I am retiring from Forum Life. I've been testing my resolve to live without using them - and feel better for it. Yes I will miss the contact I have with folk around the world - but my life is changing - and I am moving on. Certain forum members have my email address and I will see emails - but I will not be returning to the forum and will not attend PM's. Stay well all.

That FSOL piece is truly spacey electronica. For me it was reminiscent of the grandaddy of such alternate instrumentalism:

You want grandaddy of electronic - Isao Tomita - I can still remeber get wasted on Cider and listening to Tomita and Tangerine Dream. Ok I can't actually remember - but remember opening the cider and setting things to 33rpm.
