    Yeah, that song always hit me in the gut.

    Here's a couple other goodies from the British assault back in the sixties;

    TP I have to say you have an excellent ear for music. I heard "Room to move" by JM back in HS and was blown away. I saw Savoy Brown with Johnny Winter at the Oakland coliseum in the 70's. Good times.

    Thanks Mr. Mouse! I've been a music hound for a long, long time... think I'd go nuts without it.

    Check above, I added another of their songs and you'll find two more on the blues thread, too!

    Trivia - most folks don't know that Foghat (Slow Ride) was formed by three members that left Savoy Brown.

    Tell Mama and Room to Move have been on my ipod for years. The last time I saw Johnny Winter (in the late 90's) the bass player for Savoy sat in on his session. Great show. Thanks for the songs. I also saw Rod Stewart and faces in Oakland with Rod kicking the crap out of soccer balls into the audience.

    But he's a Yankee, although being from Texas, he might dispute that!

    Here he is covering Jimi for the BBC:
