    Next guess would be a Grumman product, but they'd fly faster than a Texan, so, even though it doesn't appear to be large enough, could it be the aft section of an old DC-3?

    You are correct Phil, actually it started life as a C-47 and is still flying today...

    Geez....start me out with a hard one. Best guess would be a Douglas R4D-6 from the looks of it but the scale is difficult to determine.
