Lowered suspension

Just got back from 1900 mile trip in four corners area on a 2013 roadster with progressive lowering kit. Previous owner was of shorter stature and did mod. How much handling and clearance is given up? Felt like I was riding a hard tail, any adjustment in back, no number indicators on shock. Bike looks good with kit, but not sure ride trade off is worth it.

If you found you were dragging the pegs ( & you should be ) then you need more clearance. I went with 1+1/2" over stock length & Rivco boards for the best results.
