2018 MotoGP & WSBK - may have spoilers

For those of you on the fence about whether or not to pay for the MotoGP Video Pass, now would be a good time to buy IMO.
The first GP tests of the year are Sunday, so you'll get the full scoop, but all the stored videos, Best Passes, interviews, etc.

Will Yamaha be Honda's equal this year?
    Is this Rossi's last year?
Will Zarco show up the newer bikes again?
How many podiums will KTM get?

    Can't wait!

I know, I know! And George should have been mentioned because he was fastest at the end of the three days of testing, doing the fastest lap ever on 2 wheels at Sepang. Georgie boy may finally be figuring out the Ducati, or Ducati is finally figuring out him.
I know early testing doesn't necessarily indicate who will do what in the season (Remember Vinales dominating testing last year?), but IMO it does indicate who is struggling.
I haven't finished watching all of day 3 yet, but I found a few things interesting.
I didn't realize Crutchlow is now a full HRC sponsored rider. They had 3 2018 bikes for him to test and he stayed near the top all 3 days.
Jack Miller seems to be adjusting much quicker to the Ducati than I thought he would, setting good times all 3 days.
I think I heard Rossi say he set a personal best Sepang lap time.
Aprilia still has a ways to go.
For much of the testing there were 8 or 9 riders within a half second of each other.
Looks like 2018 will be another very competitive season.

How can George be so good and so bad at almost the same time? Fastest ever at Sepang, worst ever at latest testing...

    Boris says it all...

I don't get what is going on with J-Lo either, he was lost the entire weekend, even when Ducati took back his old bike to try.

Jack Miller has to be the first guy ever to get on a GP Ducati and right away feel at home. Looks like he could be a consistent top 6 or 10 finisher this season.

So disappointing that Yamaha is still struggling, I really don't like how good Honda is looking in comparison.

KTM hasn't yet shown the progress I'd hoped for. Maybe next year they can replace Smith with Petrucci?

And poor Aprilia is still nowhere with their motors.

The drought is finally over, gentlemen! WSBK season kicks off at Phillip Island this weekend.
Rea was fast in testing at the Island but also crashed 3 times, Melandri has a full season being back under his belt, Davies is healing up, and Van der Mark is jelling with the Yamaha, so it ought to be good. Oh, and Sykes, don't forget Sykes.

Well, I'll be damned, Rea and the Kawasaki can be beat at PI. Watching Melandri's Ducati weaving down the straight was certainly unnerving to say the least though. Braver man than I. I didn't understand the announcer's repeated enthusiasm for how the new rules had tightened up the competition though. Without the tire fiasco it didn't seem any tighter than normal.
And Sofuoglu got beat, so I'm a happy camper.

MotoGP testing at Qatar starting Thursday.
