    London MCN bike show

Haven't been to a show in years, but went yesterday. Really to take my three year old...who actually loved it.
Just made me a bit sad that Triumph don't have the Rocket anymore.
(And a bit smug that I've got mine!)

I went on Friday - I had no idea that the Excel Centre was so huge, but I preferred the set up to the NEC show.

Yes, it did seem to me that the Triumph stand was lacking a Rocket in its range too.

From the fading (!) memory, agree that the NEC is a better set up. Bigger too? Wider range of stuff going on as a result.
Living down south now though, so the Excel was a good day out.

Seriously? Did they say it was being discontinued or did they just not bring it to the show? Triumph USA's website still shows the Roadster available for 2018 (but not the R3T). Very sad indeed is there's no more Rockets in their stable.
The beatings will continue until Morale improves. Arrgh!

I didn't get to speak with anyone on the stand - they were all very busy showing off the various Bonneville variants and the new Speed Triple.

Pretty sure anything available in dealers will be old stock. It must be nearly 18 months since they reportedly closed the Rocket production line. But that was supposedly because of Euro4 emission problems so who knows maybe they are still building them for other parts of the world

I bought my second rocket in 2017. It had to come directly from the factory as all the USA dealers had sold out or had all stock out on the floor. In other words my dealer at first was going to get one from another dealer in the US. I didnít want this. So a month or so later my new rocket arrived in its crate from Triumph. This was June 2017. The date of manufacture shown on the crate and the bike is Jan 2017.
