I guess the No-Mar is the way to go then.
Thanks for the silence . . . it spoke volumes on which decision to make on the changer.![]()

GL,
I personally don't have a tire changer,
well I do,
his name is islamabama or something like that, and he charges $20.00.
So unfortunatly I can't help with this decision,
I'd just take it to old islamabama an have him do it.
You could get alot of $20.00 tire changes for what you're gonna spend.
Good luck though.
skip
Your own changer... gotta cost a pretty penny I'd guess? Inclined to go with Skip on this one...esp as you can whip off the wheel yourself, saving labour charge.
How did you get the lift delivered to you and off loaded? I've looked at Handy and a number of others, with the more high end lifts weighing in at about 500 pounds. I the shipping section for each distributor or manufacturer, it says that the buyer is responsible for removal from the truck, something which I would not be able to do.

I've requested large deliveries like that by truck with a lift gate. You have to call the shipper directly.
The catch is, the customer is responsible for transport from the curb.
You can also ask that they have a pallet truck available.
Tip the driver and the both of you can drag it to your garage![]()

Hey fellas . . . I picked up the lift from a truck terminal with my 16' flat bed trailer.
Brought it home and pushed it off the ramps onto the shop floor. BTW . . . my lift on pallets weighed in about 764 lbs.
As far as the tire changer . . . I agree . .. it's about $800+ on the front end which is about 40 tire changes, but I plan to do other riders bikes other than mine as well.
Hopefully it'll pay for it self in a few years. If not . . . I can at least do my own . . .cars and bikes.
Thanks for the feed back fellas!

Now that IS a lift!
I got a Harbor Frieght electric scissor lift (discontinued), but it is a little small, just barely fits the Rocket.
